How to Apply

1. Visit. Attend an open house or schedule a personal tour. Tours run Tuesday and Thursday mornings, September through April.
2. Apply. Complete our application form (available October 1) and submit the $75 application fee.
3. Records. Request that the child’s current school send transcripts and a teacher recommendation.
4. Assessment. Applicants to Grades 1–8 spend a half-day on campus for classroom observation and grade-level assessment.
5. Family Interview. Parents and applicant meet with the Head of School or Director of Admissions.
6. Decision. Decisions are released on a rolling basis beginning February 1 for the following academic year.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Ridgemont is committed to socioeconomic diversity. In 2026–2027, roughly 28% of families receive financial aid, with awards ranging from 15% to 90% of tuition.

Tuition includes lunch, all outdoor-education trips, textbooks, and after-school study hall. It does not include the eighth-grade Bighorn Expedition ($625) or optional after-school enrichment.
